Summary
About a month before the first page takes place there was an attack lead by the Spade kingdom on the royalty of the Diamond, Club and Heart kingdoms. This left many towns destroyed as well as most of the leaders dead. Quelled is a comic following the lives of the remaining royalty left after the attack on the four kingdoms. Though the brunt of the attack is over there are still automated robots controled by the spades that continue to hunt down any remaining royals. The story starts with the travels of the princesses of the Heart and Diamond kingdoms, Stella and Jasmine, after they sneak away from Jasmine's father at Diamond castle to find any other survivors and get revenge on the Spade king.
